Curbie Driving Excellence can offer you the opportunity to become an Approved Driving Instructor with franchise options available upon qualification

To become an approved driving instructor you will need to pass all 3 tests within 2 years:

​

• Part 1 - A theory test consisting of 100 multiple choice questions and a hazard perception test

• Part 2 - Driving ability consisting of a 1 hour driving test

• Part 3 - Instructional ability consisting of you instructing a 1 hour driving lesson with a pupil under assessment

​

These tests are conducted by the DVSA

​

Training costs

​

• Part 1 - £10 per month for access to the Theory Test Training System

• Part 2 - £44 per hour, 20 hours recommended by the DVSA

• Part 3 - £44 per hour, 40 hours recommended by the DVSA

• Test Fees are not included
